![]() ![]() ![]() Wheels sound terrible when pulled back and the second time within 10 months back in. Heavy to manoeuvre, and appears not to like being pulled backwards!! Within the first 3 months in for repair.Īppears the belt decided to get snagged in the pulley housing. I live on 2 acres with the lawn mower expected to do no more than about 300 meters. Just under 1000 dollars was spent with the assurance it would do the job. I visited my local Toro distributors and discussed a mower that would be okay to use on my property. In all honesty bar the few issues I pointed out which is more Toro keeping costs level I have no problem in recommending it ![]() I've had nothing but positive experience so far, bar the few little things I pointed out. Other than that I am surprised at some of the negative comments. I don't see any problem with this as it helps keep the weight down, and it is noticeably lighter than my previous mower. The deck is all solid pressed metal construction, but the mulch port is plastic. The engine brake is a good safety feature but personally I would have preferred the blade brake so I don't need to stop and start the engine. My old commercial had one on each wheel so I guess it's what I'm use to now. I actually like the 4 wheel adjustment but that's my opinion as I noticed other's weren't happy with it that. The personal pace system is brilliant once you get use to it, the deck is stamped pressed steel to where my older model was alloy, but it doesn't show signs of blocking that other's have said about, I feel the catcher could have been a little larger but I guess that Toro done this for weight distribution, I have buffalo grass and it cuts through that no issues, nor have I experienced the engine stalling out, I've never had to go over the same area twice. Although I do think Toro could have put the Briggs and Stratton 850 industrial commercial on it and that would be a win all round. The Engine I do feel is a little underpowered compared to the Kawasaki that was on my commercial one, I do need to have the mower one setting higher then on my old model and that seems to balance it out. The mulch is much finer with the new atomic blade. Thankfully the experience has been excellent so far and beyond my expectations. After many years of persisting with my trusted Toro commercial self propelled mower, I decided it was time for a new mower and decided to stick with Toro and purchased the self propelled Toro personal pace AWD I have the model 21472 which has the vortex technology and updated handle design and different wheels compared to the previous model. I have a 1100 square metre block with multiple levels it's all over the place to be honest. ![]()
